The 17th International Workshop on Breast Imaging is pleased to announce a call for late-breaking abstracts. These abstracts will undergo review for consideration as a poster presentation at the upcoming meeting at the University of Chicago, June 9-12, 2024.

250-word abstract for technical review
100-word summary of abstract for display in the program

Two- to four-page supplemental file, prepared as a PDF that includes:

New or breakthrough work to be presented
Conclusions
Whether the work is being, or has been, submitted for publication or presentation elsewhere, and, if so, indicate how the submissions differ
This file may contain supporting images/tables/figures
Note: Only original material should be submitted. Commercial papers, papers with no new research/development content, and papers with proprietary restrictions will not be accepted for presentation.
Submit your abstracts to Heather Whitney (hwhitney@uchicago.edu) by 11:59 PM CT Monday May 13, 2024.
Notifications for abstract acceptance will be sent out to authors by Friday, May 17, 2024.
Please note the following additional information:
To be included in the program and have a dedicated space held for your poster, poster presenters must register for the meeting within one week of abstract acceptance notification (by Friday, May 24, 2024).
Due to the late-breaking nature of these submissions, there will be no associated proceedings.
POSTER PRESENTER POLICIES
PROCEEDINGS
After authors have been informed that their abstracts have been accepted, the authors (for both oral and poster presentations) should submit their proceedings manuscript by March 29, 2024 at 11:59pm Pacific Time. The proceedings manuscript should be a minimum of four pages and a maximum of twenty pages, following the manuscript guidelines. Note that the 4-page minimum is a requirement of IWBI.
Note: All authors (both of oral and poster presentations) need to register and attend IWBI2024 in person.
